Demi Charalambous (nee Kallianis)

Demi is a Physiotherapist with many years' experience working in the paediatric private practice, school and hospital settings. She enjoys working with childrens of all ages, from newborns through to adolescents. She has worked with children with a wide range of neurological, neuromuscular and genetic conditions, in addition to common newborn conditions such as torticollis, plagiocephaly, poor tummy time tolerance, and gross motor delays in infants. She has extensive experience managing complex disability including equipment prescription.
Demi has completed a variety of paediatric courses, including the Monash University Enhancing Skills In Paediatric Physiotherapy module, and short courses on the paediatric knee, paediatric hip, AFOs and Orthotics. Her special interests include working with children who have developmental delays, neurodisability, adolescents with sporting injuries, and assessing and correcting biomechanical factors.
Demi enjoys working collaboratively with children & their families to implement treatment plans that are individually tailored. She has a gentle and practical approach and is also fluent in Greek.
