Lisa is an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist with over 11 years of dedicated practice supporting children, young people and their families across a wide range of health settings. She holds a Master of Physiotherapy Practice and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from La Trobe University (2014).

​

Lisa’s paediatric clinical experience spans the hospital, community health, early childhood intervention, NDIS services, specialist schools and private practice settings in the Geelong and Ballarat regions. While working for the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) in Geelong she developed strong expertise in working with children aged 0–18 with diverse needs including ABI/TBI (including concussion), spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions and musculoskeletal concerns including serial casting.

 

Lisa has extensive experience working with infants and young children with developmental delays, Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, and gross motor delays. She is trained in infant neurodevelopmental assessment including the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE) and Prechtl’s General Movements Assesmsent (GMs).

During her time as a Key Worker Lisa developed strong skills in advocating for families and building and supporting multidisciplinary teams around the child while also providing secondary consultations and contributing to case conferences about complex presentations. She is committed to quality improvement, innovation and health advocacy, with her work recognised through a High Commendation at the 2024 Barwon Health Allied Health Awards.

Lisa is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their goals, maximise function and build confidence. She is motivated by the privilege of partnering with families on their therapy journey and strives to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care that helps children reach their full potential.

​

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys reading, completing puzzles, playing netball, travelling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
