Physiotherapist 
 

Tamara completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at Melbourne University in 2012 and went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at La Trobe University in 2024. She currently holds a position at a Lecturer in Paediatric Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in addition to her clinical work at Little Movers and is completing a PhD.

Before joining the Little Movers team Tamara worked as a Paediatric Physiotherapist and clinical educator at Eastern Health and Swinburne University. While working at the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service she gained extensive experience working with infants and children with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological impairments, aquired brain injury, orthopedic conditions and post surgical rehabilitation and other conditions requiring rehabilitation. She is trained in the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE) and Prechtl's General Movements Assessment and regularly screened babies with known risk factors for neurological conditions.

Tamara is experienced in complex equipment prescription and advocating for families to obtain the NDIS funding required to support therapy and equipment needs. She is passionate about working collaboratively with families on meaningful goals.
